Note that ESIS (Edusave Scholarships for Independent Schools), is applicable only to students studying in independent schools (eg RI/RGS/HCI/NYGS/ACSI etc). For students studying in non-independent IP schools, the top 10% receive the same edusave scholarship (ES) award as their peers studying in non-IP schools.Ganjiongspider wrote:tracy4642 wrote:Just to check whether IP schoolers also got chance to get scholarship award ?
Of course. In fact, they are also a few scholarships offer for the IP students, but need to apply.
The most common edusave scholarship will be the ESIS (Yearly Award), given to Top 10% of each cohort by level based on school examination results -- (No need to apply). See below extract from MOE:
ESIS (Yearly Award)14. ELIGIBILITY
14.1 The ESIS (Yearly Award) are awarded to Singaporean students in IS who are not awarded any other type of ESIS. These are given to the top 10% of each cohort by level in each IS based on their school examination results for the year. These awards are to encourage and reward students who have excelled academically as well as obtained a good grade for conduct in that year.
(BTW Has anyone received the ES award notification letter for this year? Normally we would receive the letter by end of Nov.)
