Anyone knows where to get English assessment books from either Pearson or Longman? There doesn't seem to be many books from this publisher nowadays in major bookstores. Publishers are mainly from EPH or MC etc.

Hey there, English assessment books may be only marginally useful in helping your child improve in English. What could be more important is to develop an understanding of grammar, vocabulary and comprehension of texts. Strategies that can help you child effectively and develop a love for learning English at the same time.
A blog that I can recommend is https://www.englishtutorpro.com/blog, where they post English articles relevant to PSLE and Primary School English consistently.
Hope it helps.
Cheers

I think the Longman Assessment English Mastery is quite ok.

I've also bought the Oxford Primary Essentials English Test Papers. They have have for P5 & P6. They are written by Dr Cheah Yin Mee. The book contains tests for all sections of the English paper.

Hi,

May I know where I can get this book ? Thanks !

Many thanks.

May check some of the larger enrichment centres. They may offer some online resources.

Hi

Is there any recommended assessment book on how to start and end a composition? My boy is in P4 this year. Very weak in writing.
