I've a boy who is never serious about school work. He's laid back, nonchalant in school related issues unless there's an element of play.
We've tried positive n negative approach but still it didnt work. All we seek for now is as long as he has slight improvements, we'll all be grinning widely.
I guess different kids mature at different age, different stage. We cant hurry them, can we? They are not us and they cannot be like us, or even what we want them to be. They are unique individuals.
I guess as parents, we're to just be there for them, encourage them, and help them if we're able.
Chasing the kid out of the house, corporal punishment are all detrimental to the child's self esteem. I've never cane my son for their results. Its only behaviour problems that i'll do that.
Because i do not want to find a day when my son is too afraid to come home after obtaining the results.
A boy who does not treat his work seriously.
