Any limit on no. of pupils in P5 class?

Hi

Does any one know what is the maximum intake for a P5 class? My son's class has 45 pupils.Can the teachers cope????

Last year, DS1 had 45 students in his P3 class too.
This year, 41.

He is in the top class of a neighbourhood school.
According to teacher, because they want to give as many students as posisble the opportunity to be in the top class. Also because there are a number of students with the same scores for English and Maths in P2.
