Hi, don't think algebra is necessary for primary level. However, many EPH ones contain algebra explanations, example Must Know Maths Strategies. Though so, would much prefer GLM's Fractions Ratio Percentage as the book looks at different examples & offers a variety of solutions (including algebra). Note, I don't have any of these books, just browsing...

Can someone recommend the tougher math assessment books for p4? Something topical will be good.

Something similar or tougher than Challenging Math by Sandhya Sundar will be ideal.

can try onsponge. But then most of the questions aren't really the tested kind.

or just simply use past year papers. Since it is already at Term 4 now. Doesn't make sense to get another assessment book.

Can anyone gauge the difficulty level for such question ?

Quite common tricky qn.
Can be very difficult to many but once you know how to solve it, it is not really that difficult or tedious.

what is the answer
