Maths Assessment Books

I take up to a year off work when my child sits for PSLE. To save money and save time, I take similar approaches to ensure she develops the needed skills for PSLE Math. In addition, I use newly released fan math p6 simulated exam papers. These papers are of top schools' prelim standard, with more tricky, thinking and challenging questions plus detailed solutions. I learn along with my child and I would highly recommend this book.

Is casco mathematics tutor for p1 recommended or fan math for self teaching? Casco one looks very thick.

I use fan-math books for DD. For topical revision, fan-math step-up maths or teach n learn is very good. For identifying weaker topics and concepts, diagnostic tests are user-friendly. For problem-solving strategies and higher-order thinking, process skills is excellent. For accuracy and speed, I use MathExpress. Before school tests, I use fan-math simulated exam papers. No external tuition for her. She scored high marks in maths.

My DD is in P5 and scored around 90 marks in the P4 -SA2 Maths Exam.( This is after much hard work and practicing different assessment books).She is very weak in Word Problems or Lengthy/Confusing Word problem.As the Number world problem will increase in P5 and P5, Is it better to arrange a 1 to 1 Tution ? What Assessment or Guide books do u recommend for Maths ?I have purchase few like daily Dose of Maths, Must Know Stregies,ON Sponge ,etc.What other books are userful in teacher her.

Also Where to get "Raffles:Advance Model Methods P5 Maths" Book ? I tried at Popular Store, but not found.

I bought fan-math bundle pack for the past few years. Very helpful for DD. Good quality, good price. A better combination this year inc simulated exam papers.

what is the true difference between the books? so many till confused... esp for p6 level..
