Financial Literacy in school curriculum, is it a must?

It's necessary
I mean, it's good.. But parents teaching kids would be sufficient enough
I believe parents should be the one teaching it

Why include in school curriculum? Children are already handling a handful of subjects.

Financial Literacy

Postby nicolenonis » Thu Sep 29, 2011 2:15 pm

Hi everyone!

I am doing some research and would like to know some opnions. There have been talks about brining Financial Literacy into our school curriculum. I would widen the gap to Secondary too. So we are talking about primary and secondary school curriculum.

Do you all think it is necessary, good, excellent, not really necessary, etc?

I think it is an excellent idea. But there is also another aspect to consider. Kids in school are already loaded with subjects and courses. I do not know if I am missing out any other points to consider. If you do think about another point to consider, please do share so we can discuss about it :)
