where did u purchase it? is it cheaper to buy from popular or wait for school to sell?

I bought at popular. I think at $49.90 also. felt price reasonable so just whack. when ds told me he was the only one in class who didn't bring dict during his exam (not complainin', just sayin'), I thot I better just buy and stop waiting.

Yes, by P4, kids will be allowed to use dictionary in Chinese compo - but only some models are accepted for national exams.

I bought the latest Creative two years ago, batteries leaked so replaced with latest Besta All Pass 2 but screen cracked and dd claimed she didn't know how. It was in its provided casing and it's usually in her school bag, never in a pocket.
Looks like it's an annual purchase for me!

Hi, I saw a listing on Qoo10 for the besta dictionary for about $50 brand new, or you could try gum tree and search for a second hand at around $30.

Links here:

GumTree: http://singapore.gumtree.sg/p/Classifieds/besta?CatId=0

Qoo10: http://list.qoo10.sg/item/BESTA-E-DICTI ... /421057823

Hope this helps! :)
