How involved are you with your child's education?

How well do you know what your child is good or bad at?

For example, do you only know that your child is weak in maths or could you pinpoint if your child is weak in algebra, geometry or probability?

Roughly by category/section - yes. Eg. Oral, compo.
But to pinpoint down to topic level - no. have left them to study mainly on their own (+ tuition/enrichment) since p4.
However, now that DS is doing PSLE in 2months' time, do feel a little regretful for not being more involved......

Why do you ask? Are you concerned about some particular aspect or subject? And the answer is 'yes'.

Yes, I know what my children are weak in. Sometimes the child is not just weak in certain topics but in certain skills that may affect his performance across some topics in more than one subjects.

For my son - yes. For my daughter - not really as she's in sec 1 already and can handle her own work.

By checking their homework and by giving them extra assignments to do at home (if not too preoccupied with school homework), you will be able to detect where their weaknesses are.
