All About Writing

Postby stabilosg » Wed Feb 08, 2017 12:16 pm

Writing is an important part of a child's development. Especially in primary school where most of the work involves writing of some form or another. I think one of the reasons why school put such emphasis on writing is it builds muscle memory so children will find it easier to remember recently learned material. This would be especially useful for spelling. Does writing offer any other benefits for children?

My child is left-handed, and when she writes , the words get smudged.
Any idea how she can avoid smudging?

Tilt the paper/book. This is what my boys did.
