I made a decision to buy a friend of mine an herb garden for their birthday as they really do cook a lot and have a sharp eye for all things “green”. When I went out on to the web to look for a good starter kit, I was almost overwhelmed with the options I had before me. Trying to select the right one was a little challenging but ultimately, I just had to think about a couple things that lead me in the right direction.

Has anyone tried planting those packets of seeds of herbs which can be bought from NTUC?

Which herbs did you buy?Do they need strong sunlight to grow?

I bought basil and oregano seeds and they never did grow out of the soil.

Interesting! Please update here if you are successful. Dd wants to grow these too but I just can’t convince myself to buy. :p

Hope you and your dh are feeling better too.
