Mummy OCEAN: A mom from West

Postby OCEAN » Wed Mar 11, 2009 11:14 am

Hi there

Today wo3 lao2 ban3 bu4 zai4, that's why I have the time to jalan jalan this website.
Recently my six and a half years old son wrote sentences to me in han yu pin yin, I was so astonished.
Yesterday he bring back his MT practice paper and score 100%. I read and read, and still cannot digest some of the han yu pin yin words. May be he is just lucky, or may be the practice paper was guided by his MT teacher. His MT revision test paper is tomorrow and let us wait see.

Regards,

Hi OCEAN! Welcome to KSP!

Yes, when boss not around, must make full use of breathing time. Haha.
My boss has a separate room so it's easier for me to "take cover" when surfing KSP, like now.

By the way, I live in the west too and have a girl in P1.

It's great that your son can write so well in hypy. They will do more of that in P1 so it's best he gets the hang of it now than struggle later, like my girl. Sigh...

Hi Schellen
Thank you for first warmest welcome!

Hi Kai,
I saw your Newbie's thread, hope to get to know you more!

Hi Jedamum
In fact I wanted to name my son Ocean but freak out when I came to know Ou De Yang also name Ocean. I don't want to be a copy cat.

I don't think it's so much of don't wanna be a copy cat. Imagine your boy going to school and feeling moody....then his friends may go "Ocean is blue" .
