Club Venture into Business

Postby porkytare » Thu Oct 27, 2011 11:50 pm

I'm a full-time working mother. On a normal day, I reach home around 8 pm and can barely spend enough time with my 2 young children. I often ask myself - what am I living for? To quit my job and be a SAHM will be a great financial strain. Yet, to continue working aimlessly has no meaning.

I've a dream, which is to quit my job one day and set up my own enrichment/tuition centre, specialising in Chinese or Creative Writing (English) one day. Anyone has similar dreams? Or can share your success stories? Thanks very much.

Hi porkytare

Every success story starts with a dream like that. In your case, what is stopping you from pursuing your dreams. Is it capital required? or not knowing how to start or seeking more guidance or require specific information or....

All these questions actually comes from my friend. He used to conduct workshops on how to choose a franchise when he was working for a government agency. He asked me the other day whether there was a demand for a website to help people like you start your own business. His idea was to provide step by step information, ie sort of handholding the would be entrepreneur, and teach them the steps.

Would his idea of a website be useful to you?
