I am a mother of 8 years old boy. My son has a mild autism. I am trying to look for a school that have a special need officer and maybe a christian school. Please help me if you know of any good school at ang mo kio?
Thank you. God bless.

Hi smile,

Welcome to KiasuParents.com!

The only school in Ang Mo Kio that has support for mild ASD is Mayflower Primary School. But it is not a Christian school.

Other schools which might be in your vicinity with such support are:
Yishun - Naval Base Primary
Bishan - Kuo Chuan Presbyterian
Central - ACS Junior, River Valley Primary
Hougang - Montfort Junior
Novena - ACS Primary, St. Joseph's Primary
Serangoon - Yangzheng, Zhonghua
Toa Payoh - St. Andrew's Junior

So your best bet for a good Christian school near you would be Kuo Chuan Presbyterian or St. Andrew's Junior

For the full list, refer to this MOE webpage.

Thanks for your info. I'm actually quite confused to decide, because my son is attending a special school now, and I plan to have both (special school and mainstream school) for him next year.
Thinking also a speech therapy ?

Will you advise me which is the best and fastest way for my son to be improved?

Thanks :D

I honestly believe you should call up St. Andrew's and see what they can offer in terms of mainstream school with support for mild ASD.

With regards to speech therapy, I'm not sure exactly what is the problem you are trying to fix, but if it is dyslexia, you may wish to consider the Orton Gillingham Centre.
