Hi Everyone!

Been a 'silent' member for a while, reading and absorbing info from the more experienced moms & dads in the forum.

So it's about time I said hello and introduce myself. My son was born in Nov 2010, agreed with hubby that we want him to have a carefree childhood so I quit work to take care of him full-time, no childcare or enrichment classes.

Now starting to research kindergarten for when he turns 4 or 5 years old, by that time we'll be living in Yishun.

Back to researching kindergartens, there's so much info to read through!

Welcome to KSP!!! =)

Do drop by and talk to the Principal or the Centre Manager and
have a feel (from how they talk and what they say) of how
the centre is being run and the passion level of the staff.... =)

Thanks for the welcome!

And I appreciate the tips JohnYeo. I'm a total newbie at this, in my time (now I feel really old haha) I went to kindergarten at 5 or 6 years old and I started Primary 1 just knowing how to write my name.

Now the kids start so young and so much more is expected like spelling, grammar, sentence structure in Primary 1. I'm getting confused with preschool vs kindergarten and all the teaching methods used like Montessori or Shichida Method.

Lots of reading for me to do!
