Newbie reporting

Postby honeydewsan » Mon Mar 31, 2014 1:09 pm

Hello all!

This is my first post.

My younger son is in P1 now. It seems to me that he is not motivated to study. For Chinese, he is ok. But for Maths and English, he seems to have problems, mainly because of his lack of motivation.

I am looking for course or training to raise his motivation. Any one has suggestion?

Thank you very much.

Welcome to KSP forum!

There's a book on motivation written by a ksp forumner, who's also a trained psychologist : Internal Drive Theory, Motivating Your Child To Want To Study.

Her blog (PetuniaLee) and posts on ksp also have motivation tips.

Commerical motivation courses in the market would be Adam Khoo, Mindchamps, Learning Mastery etc ... Personally at P1, I don't think it's necc. You still have time to work with him.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I found the blog:

I will read through the article and see how to apply.

Cheers.
