Used Karcher DS6.000 this morning, as good as Delphin, at a much lower price :rahrah:

Going to get a handheld dust cleaner later.

My elder sister and youngest sister had the misfortune of falling out of my father's car when they were young. My elder sister fell out of the car when she was in primary 4 or 5 while my youngest sister fell out when she was 5. These happened back in the days when there were no safety belts for backseat passengers. Both incidents happened bcos the car door was not locked properly. The roads were straight and fortunately, for both cases, the roads were not as busy as today's so they were not run over.

My youngest sister fell and sat on the road. My father simply halted the car and went back to pick her up. No harm done.

But my eldest sister scraped her face on one side, so it must have been painful. Fortunately, it healed without a scar. In fact, it could be a blessing in disguise. I remember her telling me that the fall did her acne-prone face good bcos the side that was scraped had fewer pimples during her puberty years :)

We had shabu shabu at home today.

While keeping the extension cord, elder boy noticed that the plug was hot which should not be the case.

Hubby opened up the plug and saw that the inside was not well trimmed/ packed and a screw was missing.

Ah boy then suggested to open up the other part of the extension cord.

Luckily hubby listened to his suggestion.

The inside of the extension was not well assembled.

We had been lucky so far.

Please check your extension cord if you are using them.

Good to have kids who are observant and know what the inside of the plug should look like.

I think I would not have thought twice why the plug could be hot. Actually I would have thought that it is normal for it to be a bit warm to the touch. Even I were to open up the thing I won't know if it was properly assembled.
