Too watery, I threw away the whole pot of liquid.

Just opened one pack a few days ago, inside still looked normal. Made a simple eggless tiramisu with this cream cheese this morning.

Not too bad

Can you share the recipe please?

Thank you.

Super simple to DIY

Prepare the instant coffee, pour in a shallow plate to let cool. I did not add liquor to the coffee.

Cream the cream cheese with sugar in a mixing bowl.

I did not add whipped cream or heavy cream.

I did not measure the sugar, estimate around 2/3 cup portion.

Taste the creamed mixture, added a few more spoons till I am satisfy with the sweetness level.

Store bought lady fingers, dipped in instant coffee, once on each side.

Lay 6 of these lady fingers in the lock n lock rectangular box.

Spread one layer of the creamed cheese.

Lay another 6 pieces of the lady fingers.

Spread last layer of creamed cheese.

Dust with cocoa powder.

Chill before serving.

Super easy to do.

Now I know why I am unable to find a store bought tiramisu that suits my tastebuds. I need it to be 100% cheese based, not mixed with other types of cream.

Fattening :celebrate:

I also drizzled a little of the brandy onto each finger lady on the 2nd layer before spreading the last layer of creamed cheese.

What a coincidence, Jennifer. We made tiramisu too! :hi5: Had to finish off the mascarpone from baking the Hokkaido Cheese Tarts.

Sama Sama here, most of it ended up in my tummy. In fact, I just polished off the last two pieces a while ago.

I have another expired pack of cream cheese in the fridge now

The packet of lady fingers I bought comes in two packs, each pack has 12 pieces, just nice for 2 layers in the lock n lock box. Once the lady fingers are dipped in the coffee mixture, they can fit into the lock n lock box, no cutting required.

Tomorrow I take a photo of the packet of lady fingers. Bought from NTUC, think it was the cheapest brand. Can't remember the exact price.

Very likely I bought from NTUC Finest at Bt Timah Plaza. Yet to eat on its own. Should be going to break easily if dipped in coffee to eat, might need a spoon
