What we cannot do or can do depends on what we want to tell ourself.

I am having fun doing what I like to do, never mind the end results.
True
It is the process that we are enjoying. The end result will take care itself...

I asked him how will his last day at Pasir Laba Camp be like.
He said just pack n go, unlikely to have a farewell party.

Really fast. Will he be continuing with his studies here or heading overseas?

I mentioned before that the dynamics between your sons and yourself reminds me very much of one of my staff. Her elder son is on a scholarship at NUS. He was eyeing a scholarship overseas but decided to stay in Singapore because his father is already working overseas. Her younger son who gave her lots of headache before has matured. He will be taking is A levels this year and is also working towards a scholarship to a local U.

I came across an interesting article titled "Using the write tool to assess one's virtue and morality" printed in The Straits Times on 11-August 2017, page A28

During my childhood, I was a TV addict.
There was a period of HK drama based on Tang Dynasty emperors n the Chinese empire.
It was almost a norm in each drama to have a few episodes that featured the Imperial Examinations.
In the Imperial Examinations, one of the test topics would be poetry writing.

During that time, I was baffled why poetry writing.
This article published in The Straits Times has answered my question.

A well written article that speaks to me.
