The urology specialist advises keeping a diary of liquid intake vs urine output. A normal output quantity ranges between 300-500ml each time. The interval is 2-3 hours. If a person drinks an excessive amount than required and there is no abnormalities in the bladder or pelvic floor muscle, then cutting down the liquid intake should take care of the seeming frequent toilet trips.

As each person's lifestyle is different, the liquid intake also differs. 8 cups of water could be 8 150ml or 8 250ml, depending on the body signals. No hard n fast rule. The best indicator is the colour of urine. Clear means ok, dark means drink more.

The O&G specialist recommends pelvic floor rehab to be done after childbirth. Interestingly, the damage to pelvic floor muscle was not during birthing, but the 9 months of carrying the foetus in the womb. He also advises that we should carry loads sensibly, as much as possible avoid carrying heavy things.

The colorectal specialist advises to monitor food intakes- spicy, fibre intake as well as stress levels, each a contributing factor to either loose or hard bowel, before looking at possible medical conditions.

Wah! Difficult to measure output tho intake can measure. The only way I've known was when FIL was given a discharge bag to measure urine output as inpatient. How does one measure output in normal circumstances? Did urologist advice?

Think I shld hv no issues with food intake as my family observe white meat, high veg & fruits diet. I rarely take spicy food. Only spices are thyme, Rosemary that sort of stuff. Once in a while curry or Assam fish to break our monotony.

only dh and I eat kimchi n kimchi pancake, my kids dun, spicy to dd, "smells" to ds
I add spring onions and seafood prawns, clams etc
Bought the pancake flour fr K last time.

Why add potato starch flour?

same method can make the Jap pancake too ( flour, egg, cabbage + mini prawns) top up Jap bbq sauce, and Jap mayo
But again, my kids dun eat cabbage :skeptical: :scratchhead: so i hardly make too

MP,
I used the mildly spicy Korean chilli flakes to make the napa cabbage kimchi and the vanilla flavoured glutinous rice flour to make the porridge paste, so my napa cabbage kimchi is 'sweet', not spicy till the boys complain cant eat (only hubby complains too sweet, not spicy enough).

I also use a small amount of the napa cabbage kimchi to fry the pancake. So overall spiciness is acceptable to 3 of us.

I add potato starch flour cos elder boy commented my first attempt not chewy enough.
