Hi.

I am at London Euston Rail Station now, waiting to board the train enroute Kendal where we will be self drive around some parts of Lake District.

The train journey is about 3hr plus.
Hopefully there is free wifi onboard, otherwise I would be very bored as I forgot to pack any books and my crochet kits.

onboard Virgin Train now.
Made seat reservation upon booking- carriage A which was indicated as the front of the train, with forward facing seat. But we are now sitting back facing

The train parked at the Platform with its head (carriage A) furthest away from the boarding entrance. Luckily we walked fast to the carriage, else no space to put our luggage. Carriage is full.

No roaming wifi onboard.

The wifi service is only its BEAM which offers movies, tv shows, magazines, news.

I am going to find a movie to watch.

update later.

You there on holiday?

Elder boy heading overseas to further his studies soon?

Remember I mentioned about the similarities between you and your boys with one of my staff and her boys. Her older boy completed his uni and is now applying to Harvard for post grad studies. Younger one who gave her a lot of headache is in army now but has also gotten a placement in NUS.

Just boarded Northern Railway train towards Kendal, 45min journey. :xedfingers: not raining at Lake District. Grey skies at Preston now.

Short haul train no wifi.

I bought the SIM card from a Sg shop @ Clementi Mall (opp the POSB ATM), on the 3rd floor. 12GB plus 3000min talk time n 3000 SMS (I think, can verify on qoo10.sg), paid S$33/-

Arrived at Heathrow Airport n checked out those sold via the vending machine. Same specs 30pounds.
