We ate rather healthily there.. On most days I mean.. My cousins have heaps of self control.. Must maintain their nice bodies.. So I had little sweet stuff.. No soft drinks.. Very little carbo.. Had more of protein and fibre.. Cannot put on weight like that..

Lots of walking and trekking. In fact, food wise also not that sinful, maybe more ice-cream than normal but my normal is virtually no ice-cream. The most sinful will be oysters but they are not fattening right? Maybe more carbo as many a times we have to settle for sandwiches or wraps.

My weight gain was since before the hols as I stopped my normal exercise after my hip problems. But the weight gain is a lot more than anticipated. Seriously, once past 40, no need to eat, just breathe also can put on weight, for me lah.

This look very nice indeed.

I use either or. If use salted than don't add anymore salt. If unsalted usually will add some salt in the flour. The good thing with using unsalted butter is you can control how salty you want the cake to be. I find that adding a bit of salt or using salted butter gives the taste of the cake more depth.
