These few rainy afternoon makes me remember this song I love

Joy is like the rain
***************
I saw raindrops on my window,
Joy is like the rain.
Laughter runs across my pain,
Slips away and comes again.
Joy is like the rain.

I saw clouds upon a mountain,
Joy is like a cloud.
Sometimes silver, sometimes gray,
Always sun not far away.
Joy is like a cloud.

I saw Christ in wind and thunder,
Joy is tried by storm.
Christ asleep within my boat,
Whipped by wind, yet still afloat.
Joy is tried by storm.

I saw raindrops on the river,
Joy is like the rain.
Bit by bit the river grows,
'Till all at once it overflows.
Joy is like the rain.

Here is a song I learnt during Music lessons in sec school. I think the teacher is a Ms.Esther Lee.

Simon & Garfunkel: El Condor Pasa
***********
I'd rather be a sparrow than a snail.
Yes I would,
If I could,
I surely would.

I'd rather be a hammer than a nail.
Yes I would,
If I only could,
I surely would.

CHORUS
Away, I'd rather sail away
Like a swan that's here and gone
A man gets tied up to the ground
He gives the world
Its saddest sound,
Its saddest sound.

I'd rather be a forest than a street.
Yes I would.
If I could,
I surely woud.

I'd rather feel the earth beneath my feet,
Yes I would.
If I only could,
I surely would.

Another beautiful morning.

I have a dream

Songwriters: ANDERSSON, BENNY GORAN BROR / ULVAEUS, BJOERN K. / KORTNEV, ALEKSEJ ANATOLEVICH

I have a dream, a song to sing
To help me cope with anything
If you see the wonder of a fairy tale
You can take the future even if you fail
I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream

I have a dream, a fantasy
To help me through reality
And my destination makes it worth the while
Pushing through the darkness still another mile
I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream

I have a dream, a song to sing
To help me cope with anything
If you see the wonder of a fairy tale
You can take the future even if you fail
I believe in angels
Something good in everything I see
I believe in angels
When I know the time is right for me
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream
I'll cross the stream - I have a dream

Jennifer wrote:I would like to grow some flowering plants. Tried to grow from seeds, but either dry out and die out  or too wet and die out :? Hiaz, like an unfathomable woman. In the end, I dumped all the remaining seeds into the big bag of soil. This bag of soil was subsequently used to top up the soil of other pots of plants.

Recently I noticed some seedlings in the tomato plant pots. So I gathered all of them n transplanted these in another pot. Let's see what I get in a few weeks' time - weed or those abandoned seeds?

I found some seedlings with dried seed coats not dropped off yet. Could they be those abandoned flowering seeds???

A pic on the bugs on the plants. see the whitish oval shaped thing? there are 2 on the leaf (which I cut off from the main stem to serve as organic fertilizer for the tomato plant n also to encourage flowering).

My challenging son, I need some strength n reminder

http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=SG&v=C1 ... c&hl=en-GB

The road is long
With many a winding turn
That leads us to who
knows where Who knows where

But I'm strong
Strong enough to carry him
He ain't heavy, he's my brother

So on we go
His welfare is of my concern
No burden is he to bear
We'll get there

For I know
He would not encumber me
He ain't heavy, he's my brother

If I'm laden at all
I'm laden with sadness
That everyone's heart
Isn't filled with the gladness
Of love for one another

It's a long, long road
From which there is no return
While we're on the way to there
Why not share

And the load
Doesn't weigh me down at all
He ain't heavy he's my brother

He's my brother

He ain't heavy, he's my brother

He ain't heavy, he's my brother
