PP, you'll know more abt the diff species if you're into gardening cos the botanical names are printed on the seed packets!

Porky does not have green fingers. Porky has fat fingers!

Nice Jennifer!

Just to update u, my little gardening attempt wh was inspired by u failed completely. I just tried to "plant" spring onion using shallots but somehow after growing a little, they just shrivelled up and died. Tried a few times and gave up! Think could be the soil I used... Any soil type to recommend?

I bou the soil from the nursery, told the aunt it is for growing spring onions. Maybe the location is too hot? I usu. water early in the morning 6am plus or after late evening 5pm plus. The tap water at other hours can be too warm, esp on a hot day.

May I come in to K-po a bit  ?

As you ladies are talking abt plants and flowers and so knowledgeable on the names, I hope someone can advise me on the name of this plant. I saw this at Kong Meng San Monastery over the weekend. The flowers are in full bloom and they are so beautiful! I love flowers and will always swipe out my camera (aka hp) whenever I pass by any beautiful flowers and this is my first time seeing this flower.

Can someone tell me its name? TIA
