After living in temperate countries, our attitude to rain in Singapore is - it's warm water! The only things I really mind about getting wet is that shoes and bags get soaked. My daughter got caught in one of those really heavy downpours recently, and shared her umbrella with a friend. Both got very wet, and we had wet books, bag, shoes etc to deal with. Clothes can go into machine and bodies into the shower, so those didn't matter.

FIL was caught in the rain at worksite last year. Coupled with insufficient rest, a harmless cold then escalated into bronchitis. Needed to stay in the hospital for treatment bcos his red blood count was low and he developed a fever which rendered him delirious.

IMO, the young and the old are advised to stay out of the rain.

Old folks I agree, and also babies.

And yah different kids different constituent.

After the play they hit the showers and piping hot mugs of hot chocolate will be waiting for them.

I don't mind letting them play in the rain during school holidays. But during term time is a no no. Very troublesome to fall sick, what more during school term.

Getting mild LS throughout the day.

Elder boy came home, rushed to the toilet, leaving his sch bag outside the toilet which is very unusual. Turned out he also kena mild LS like me. Must b the stomach flu virus from ah boy.

No wonder I felt tired even though I slept well last nite n took my folic supplement this morning.

Whole day did not do much, except sat down to clear some journals entry.

This year the auditor very pro, sent out email to my boss to remind of year end
