remember to do some stretches, at the end.
and keep a lookout for the knee strain.

:thankyou:

last night I told elder boy I climbed stairs, his 1st comment: bad for knees. Then told me the best way to lose fats is to do sprinting, suggest I do a 100m sprint, then walk for anther 100m and repeat the process again.

These days, kids are IT savvy and better informed than us.

I hv yet to tell him about the fibroids in my breast, scared he worries unnecessarily after reading up on the net.

I tell my kiddies everything, well almost everything.

Especially helpful because in absence of their daddy, they are my helpers. They learn how to help deal with the situation and know who to call and the numbers to call in case of emergency. They will not panic or worse just cry and know not what-to-do.

In short, they are well-informed and can make informed decisions should something untoward happens to me. They learn how important health is... how health is wealth... they help with after-care.

My girls have been guided to help out after my delivery of their two brothers. Yes, they can handle infants, feed, burp, watch that neck! and put the babies to sleep. Anything except dealing with the peanut butter poop (that was what they called massive poop jobs!) :rotflmao: They understood more about jaundice from seeing how we care for our newborns (back then).

I've had dizzy spells. Fell in the bathroom twice. Both times knocked out. Unconscious. I've had severe abdominal pains that couldn't even allow me to walk. We discussed all the diagnosis given by the doctors.. growths.. cysts.. mild stroke.. facial paralysis.. etc

They wait at home or in the hospital(s) for any/every surgery I had to go through. We discuss the risks involved.. the medical care.. the post surgery follow-ups etc.. They will occasionally remind me not to do certain things to prevent relapse and at times they tell me to just lie down and rest.

I see it in another way. That if they know, they worry less as we go thru the process together. They know what it is and how to deal with things. If anything unfortunate happens to me, they won't be in severe shock.

But that's me.
