Go with gfriends? Yr boys?

That's what I do when DH's travelling...

I was a workaholic, did not keep in touch with ex classmates. My only gf does not like to eat :rotflmao: Now I also can't eat much.

But still, I appreciate his help...

at least he bothers to help.

i finally bought glutinous rice. gonna try to make that steamed glutinous rice recipe. that's all for me cos no one else likes glut rice at me home.

btw, my version of 蛋炒饭 today got 80% DTF's standard liao.

I was at Popular this evening, saw a sago dumpling recipe. Very interesting, but who will eat a whole mouthful of sago?

I like to try cooking lotus leaf glutinous rice. The veg stall seller says must pre order the leaves.

I saw a lot of lotus leaves in the pond at the Ang Mo Kio garden opposite AMK library. Think you can pick 1 or 2 from there?
Definitely fresher than from veg stall :rotflmao:

Many years ago, FIL went trekking at Bt Timah Hill, it rained while he was going back to the visitor's station. He plucked a big yam leaf to use as umbrella. Reached the station, kena fined by the park caretaker.

So, can't anyhow pluck garden leaves hor
