this is the open top boat we took.
we were told by the boat tour guide that this is the Queen's boat.
this is taken on the boat once we went inside the Trekroner Fortress. As the next boat comes to pick up an hour later, we did not get off the boat. The shape of the island is like a letter C, turned to its left.
hahaha, this is me.
this is one of the statue on the grounds of Rosenborg Have. Not sure whether this is the Little Matchstick girl.
We will be going to to this place later to visit the castle. Will check out the directory then to confirm.
hahah, dunno how come this pic turns out not upright.
This guard is at Amalienborg Slotsplads which according to website info, is the Queen's Palace. Nothing much to see from the outside, not grand nor majestic looking.
We did not get to see changing of guards.
this was taken while we were on the bus. If u look closely, the girls are wearing skin coloured stockings. I admire them for the courage, it is so windy n cold leh.
Monday is a public holiday in Denmark, according to a local we met at the Central Train Station.
Hubby then understood why there are so few hotels available for booking.
Tmr is Monday. After which we would be going to Malmo. Upon our first day of arriving in Copenhagen, the hotel staff told us Malmo train worker union had organised a strike, no train service operating from here to Malmo. We would hv to take a bus from the airport to get to Malmo.
O, the first day we arrived at the airport, we were lost as to how to take the train to Copenhagen. Taxi would cost ard US$60, so we opted to take s-train. The s-train ticket is not in English, we asked a passenger waiting at the platform how to decipher the ticket - which platform to take, where to alight. We drew a blank from her. Went back to q at the ticket office, a snake q. Hubby went to look ard for someone to ask and saw a lady in a bright yellow jacket that printed ASK ME. Well, a learning experience for me.
