Hubby ordered a fried hake, a local white fish with assorted veg n new baby potatoes, very delicious too. He forgot to bring his camera battery after charging n my mobile low battery strength, so no pics.

So far, we r very satisfied with local Swedish food. Lightly seasoned n very fresh.

The vault is used as a dining hall in the hotel.

Easy boiled egg. Look at the pale colour of the egg yolk, it is very creamy. This is the kind of soft boiled egg I like to master.

The crusty soft bread, really good to eat. I almost finished the basket of bread at Mrs. Brown, with appetite for only a starter course n no dessert.

Central train station at Malmo.

Malmo is a small town, predominantly an industrial town which might explain for its less beautiful bldgs compared to Copenhagen.

We walked to the Malmo Castle ytd late afternoon. Definitely not impressive on the outside, no pointy towers, drawbridge. Only a moat that is commonly seen at castles.

On our back to the hotel after dinner, we were surprised to see a grand piano placed at the centre of a walkway. A street performer played the piano. Not classical pieces I could recognise, I must admit I am not familiar with classical pieces, only know those my boys learnt.
