DH and I did sections of it. We contemplated the entire route but in the end decided against it as we do not fancy having to take the bus, MRT or taxi home after the walk. But to loop back to the car that will be too long a route.

I am not for the idea to walk from the Rifle Range Rd to MacRitchie Res. Ah boy thinks he can do it, suggests us to take a taxi all the way into Rifle Range Rd :siao:

Ever done the HSBC tree top walk? Then no need to worry about having to loop back to pick up the car.

Not yet.

Along the walk, will there be many monkeys?

The last time we went to MacRitchie, we saw the fierce fangs bearing monkeys. We did not venture deeper. All of us agreed we wont want to go back. I believe ah boy had forgotten abt these monkeys.

Start of trail is not at MacRitchie. It's actually after Thomson Plaza. And no monkey encounter when I went. But that was many many years ago.

2 June 2014 Singapore – Public access to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve (BTNR) will be limited for about two years, with effect from 15 September 2014 as the National Parks Board (NParks) carries out repair and restoration works to the slopes, trails and forests in the reserve. NParks will also use the opportunity to upgrade its more than 20-year old visitor centre at the foot of BTNR.
