Bland taste, not buttery, need some breakfast spread.

Slightly chewy, soft n fluffy. Need to wait till tmr morning for the final verdict.

very difficult to slice, the crust is not hard enough.

I should hv adjusted the temperature to 180 deg c earlier.

This bread reminds me of ice cream roti.

I followed the amount & ingredients in her recipe. Method altered a little.

I put the sugar, yeast and water in the mixing bowl first, then waited for the yeast to grow a little before adding most of the flour for mixing at low speed.

Then I add the salt and the remaining flour for mixing.

Her recipe did not say what speed to mix n for how long, so I agar agar, alternate between low and medium, before adding the soften butter. Then alternate between low and medium. It took me approx. 12 to 15 mins to get the window pane consistency.

:rahrah:

Fantastic looking loaf.

I can never get the 3 portions to rise in equal proportions. I always wonder how people do it. Mine always end in different heights.

I like soft thin crusts.

What you need is a good bread knife. More reason to shop. Haha.
