No idea. Usu hubby buys them, I did not ask him the price. Doubt he remembers the old prices either.

Jen, last year CNY, I found the bangkit from Swee Heng were nice - not too sweet and doesn't really stick to teeth. I didn't manage to get any yet this time. I'm hoping (no change to their recipe) they will be as tasty as they were last year. :D

Yesterday we bought Lee Chee Guan, it was $50 per kg.

Ok, maybe u / others may wanna to try this sliced fish dish...which i had tried recently...

Is this spicy?

Hmm....a bit of spicy...but still ok for me as i also dont take spicy food...
To make it less spicy, replaced the black pepper with white pepper...
The chilli i hv is not spicy ( the fat, long types)... added more for appearance ...can be removed...

I tried sliced fish using the I Eat recipe previously and it turned out disastrous because I think I had missed out something. Haven't tried it again since.

Shall try this dish. May I substitute evaporated milk with fresh milk? What is the purpose for adding milk? How little is "little"?

Now, I have another use for the curry leaves, in addition to your 3-cup chicken and the cereal prawn/sotong/chicken. :dancing:
