Bn getting migraine almost everyday.

Ytd, went to a TCM who practises in Pandan Gdns.

Was already not feeling too well when I went there, even skipped dinner.

3 taxi trips, inclusive of going to a medical hall to buy the prescription herbs.

Upon reaching home, I puked. Felt so much better after a good night's sleep.

Physician told me not to eat:

white radish, carrots, tea, salads, coconut, glutinous rice food, egg, sour and cold fruits.

No wonder ytd the migraine was almost unbearable.

Actually the other TCM I went to gave the same diagnosis, but treatment n medication were ineffective.

Maybe be bcos they did not advise me what not to eat n I happened to b eating those foods.

Oh dear. Migraines. Nasty things. Feel better soon ok.

I gave up on TCM herbs. Their treatment like guasha, baguan ok. But don't ask me to down any of those horrific herbs. Those herbal soup still ok but for medicinal purpose kind :siam:

I thot a lot of TCMs are now moving to prescribing capsules instead of brewing herbs?

I tried those.

I believe brewed ones should be more customised.

:xedfingers: can help me.

the brewing is kinda troublesome.

First soak the big package in 3 bowls of water (I used 600ml) for 1/2 hour.

Then bring to a boil, turn to middle heat to simmer for 45 to 50 mins. Need to check water level midway.

Then soak the small package briefly in water before adding to the brewing pot to simmer for 20 mins.

I bou a brewing pot for $14.90 last night. It looks like a old fashion tea kettle, just a bigger size one.
