Funz also dunno how to cycle?

Eh eh, you all want to learn from a coach? I know it sounds silly (whoever learns cycling from a professional?) but I really like the idea and it's really fast.

99% of his students learn how to ride within 2hrs. No la, I don't earn commission. Just offering a suggestion.

How much does this coach charge? Venue?

I raised the possibility of riding a tricycle to my boys. Both of them :yikes: at my suggestion, told me not to disgrace myself.

 Tricycle.

Friends are always shaking their heads when they find out that I don't know how to cycle. They laugh off their heads when I tell them maybe it is fear of falling that is holding me back. Comments like 'You? Fear? Can go bungee, scuba, sky diving but afraid of falling off a bicycle. '

I did try to learn when I was much younger. But I had a very bad fall, injured my ankle rather badly. This ankle is now a weather forecaster. Aches when it's cold or about to rain. Crack and rattle whenever I flex or rotate that ankle.

Not that I did not try ever to cycle again. I made a few more attempts but each time, I tense up on the bike. A friend told me to stop strangling the bicycle, another time, I was told to release my death grip. Hahaha.

When kids were younger, I do regret not knowing how to cycle as I could not cycle along with them. Now that they are older, I do not see any need to learn to ride the bicycle.

I am sorry Funz, but I would hv said the same like your friends! I guess some knots didn't get untie and we live with those knots all our lives. Like me and my fear of cockroaches. :siao:

The thing about cycling is you gotta relax a bit. But I totally understand, when one can't balance, how to relax?!

I was 'forced' to learn cycling when young, if not I had to walk for 30mins to get to the nearest bus stop.

OT: Funz, once bitten twice shy. I share the same sentiment but on eating fish. A fish bone stuck in my throat when I was young...

:hi5: Same! I avoid certain fish that have tonnes of bones, and when I buy fish, I get fillets only.

Fillets are more expensive.
