Cant be there everyday as MIL needs to go to #2 SIL to help care for the newborn.

This young nephew (slightly > 2 mths old only) is physically strong, can hold his neck very well and turn left n right.

#2 SIL does not hv a domestic helper and her MIL does not visit :?

Weird right? this nephew is her only son's eldest child.

According to MIL, #2 SIL gets along well with her MIL.

well, i think it's not that they don't care for this nephew, but some do get a bit phobic when it comes to babies, esp when they started crying. gets on their nerves and makes the, all flustered. not a nice feeling at all. although i love to see babies cry. but when kids grow to certain age, some will feel more relaxed with them.

He says he wants to apply NJC.

I think we better prepare for some alternatives

Ya, elder boy is in NJC.

Somehow I think NJC is not suitable for ah boy - he might find it boring - not enough boys to play soccer. I rather he goes to a all-boys' school.
