I thought the small fibroid grew tremendously due to the overactive thyroid

Actually braced myself for more bad news yesterday.

Yes. Did you report to MOH? Where is the accountability by them?

It's awesome news that the fibroid is not as big as stated. Did you make some issue out of this typo at all or just received it in stride? This kind of blunder cannot play.

Today MIL kept praising my skills at wrapping rice dumplings and openly said next time I can take over this task. I immediately rejected her idea.

I believe this is the first time she openly praised me for something I could do better than her

In the span of 3 hours, I finished wrapping 6 bundles of rice dumplings, average bundle has 10 rice dumplings.

Imagine the next 3 to 4 hours spent cooking 2 bundles each over charcoal.

Nice to eat but too much work.

This reminds me of something...

When chubs tries to be funny with me like indirectly asking for break or outdoor time with silly excuses/reasons, before he's done with the day's work, I'd say to him... "Nice try honey, but nope."

These days when I compliment him for good work and try to use that to get him to do more work, he'd swing that, "Nice try, mom but no." Then, he will give me a cheeky smile. :rotflmao:

When mil came the last two times, she actually came to the kitchen to watch me prepare food to put on the table... including the cakes and snacks I prepared for all of them 9 peeps. She commented that I actually had time to prepare that much food.

But she will still not compliment me openly (and it's totally ok), but instead tell my DDs, "Wahh, the dinner my granddaughters whipped up is so good/delicious."

I no longer have anything to say to her and never allow my heart to feel anything anymore so nothing she says affects me much. My girls looked at her, then looked at me, then hubby looked at her, then at me. The girls said, "Mommy cooks the most awesome dishes. She knows all our favourites." DD2 added, "Mommy shared that you and grandpa likes these, that's why she made them specially for u today." Hubs chipped in, "The girls cook? Ya, right." I remained stoicly undisturbed. :imanangel:

At her exit, she will never fail to say aloud to me to look after her son and her grandchildren, must take good care of them, her son provide for all of us, they're all so clever like daddy, dong shi like daddy, must be daddy teach them that's why like that, must take care of daddy when he's old... then to me, sorry trouble u wash the dishes cos we just eat, chat and go home. See u again soon.

It's like she's doing a Barberella version of ..... Sanks everybody sanks. :rotflmao:

As long she happy.
