There's a weekly members promo I believe it's either Tues or Wed, where tickets are about $6.50 for movies before 6pm, if I remember correctly.

Cathay has promo 1-1 for moms and tots during the weekdays and Passion Card promo for movies before 6pm.

:thankyou:

I should go apply for GV membership, though the GV cinemas not very near my place

Why is Shaw JCube ticket price $9.50 for Our Sister Mambo???

West Mall Cathay $9.00

GV Vivocity $7.50 with DBS/POSB credit & debit card movie privileges

Do we have to apply for movie privileges separately if we have DBS credit card?

You don't have to apply for it. Just select POSB credit card ion when making payment for your moive ticket.Discount will be automatically given to you.

:thankyou:

if we buy over the counter, just present the card, no minimum purchase amount required?

Bought this zebra cake at Westgate Isetan B2 bakery.

Too much cream for my liking.

I also decided I do not like crepe :rotflmao:

For me, such cakes are just drooling good to look at, luckily not my cup of tea :moneyflies: so expensive for just one slice.

They're costly as it takes quite some effort to make them.

Each layer has to be made with love, right amount of mixture, cooked over right temperature over the right amount of time... after which, each layer is put together one at a time with the right amount of cream at the right height, for it to look pretty.

I too prefer actual cakes over crepes. :D

Me too! I used to think it was the frosting so tried at a few places. And still didn't like. So concluded they're not my cup of tea. Of rather, not my slice of cake.

I was at UOB yesterday to meet a RM to discuss opening accounts.

He was recommending me Pru-Cash plan single yearly premium plan.

So I asked him about structured deposit.

He said it is too short a term for my profile, interest rate is guaranteed for first 5 years, only the remaining 11 months interest rate is not guaranteed.

Is it so?
