a mind boggling qn.
having fear towards something or some situation is natural.

Why one needs to learn to acquire fear?

Do you mean to instill fear?

I suddenly remember the times the children during babyhood learning to stand up, then subsequently walk, seemed fearless of falling down.

It depends on how long you are keeping them. If you are eating them in a day or 2, then outside is OK. If they are sealed in plastic bags with dehumidifier, then outside for a few days is OK. Otherwise, they will get mouldy quickly in our warm and humid climate.

Bcoz these younglings yet to experience pain
We are fearful coz we dun want to get hurt, pain or failure ( painful emotional feeling again) - my opinion of fear

Fear may be overcome or reduced if we have ample preparation.
