Received news that FIL's younger cousin has passed away.

She had been hospitalized for almost a month due to colon cancer.

Our last meeting was after Chinese New Year at her workplace- a Chinese medical hall at Chinatown. She did not look sick at all.

Do get your elderly parents to go for annual health checkup.

Raffles group newly opened medical centre at Shaw Centre now running some packages for SG50 and the elderly might be able to use their CHAS card. Please find out more details on their website.

Life is fragile and unpredictable. Seeing some of my colleagues holding high posts and earning big bucks, I admit I don't have the capability and so am glad to knock off on the dot to return home for my own activities.

To each his own .

Some days when i am depressed, I look at others ahead of me and think , my life is pathetic.
Other days, when i am happy, I look at others in the rat race and think - their life is pathetic.

Ah boy's birthday is due soon.

Hubby is planning a business trip that will make him miss the birthday. I wonder whether he remembers it at all.

Went to Taka with elder boy this afternoon while hubby and ah boy proceeded to Suntec.

Orchard Road had many people, but I won't deem it super crowded.

No 水泄不通的景象 unlike the train station at China when we needed to take a train from Shanghai to can't remember where.

Reason why we went to Taka was not to buy more moon cakes, but to go back to Kino to exchange the book which has skipped pages from 135 to 160+.

Unfortunately, the other copy on the shelf has the same problem.

So the Kino staff returned us the vouchers (we paid using vouchers at the previous purchase) and at the same time, placed another order for us.

:xedfingers:
