Thanks jennifer for yr sharing. i think i shld learn to be less anxious.

When I looked at elder boy's sch GP or ELL papers reviewed and remarked by the teachers, I also developed anxiety and had asked him whether he needed to get a tutor. I even called up a GP centre to ask whether they offer crash courses.

But elder boy told me to trust his sch teachers and him.

So I cross my fingers.

Nothing I could do to support him academically.

I could only contain and tone down my worries.

i am also most concern over ds's GP. Wanted to suggest tuition but i know he wont be keen. Hope the school teachers will get him to improve on his essays next year. Teachers are impt.

Went for the bi-annual US pelvis checkup at KKH this morning.

Completed the scan at 9.15am, registered at The Private Suite TPS at 9.21am

Finally got to see the gynae at 12.30pm

Paid the fees at the counter at 12.48pm

I spent less than 10 mins in her room, but waited close to 2 hours after my appointment time 10.45am

Anyway, I told her I do not wish to be seen at the TPS anymore, the TPS seems to be more for expectant mothers, not patients like my case just to review uterus health. So she discharged me.

She told me to go to the polyclinic to get a referral letter to KKH when I need to review the fibroid in one year's time as a subsidised patient at the other KKH gynae clinic, not at the TPS.

Actually I started being seen by a gynae at the normal KKH clinic. Then the gynae left KKH and I was transferred to this present gynae who sees patients at TPS.

I do not see any difference in treatment between the normal clinic and the TPS. But my experience at TPS on 2 occasions was very long wait.
