no, 2nd. The eldest and youngest are girls.
According to my colleague (female), they were clueless on what to pack.
I shared with her on some of the items you mentioned :)
I note your boy would return home mth end as my colleague asked if 3mths later.

Before yesterday, I asked elder boy whether he will be calling home everyday.

Answer - no

Reason -
1. need to conserve phone battery power since cannot charge, no spare battery (cos the xiaomi model battery cannot take out) and no strong powerbank.
2. no news is good news

Now is 10.15pm, my mobile phone no text msg no missed call, house phone also not ringing.

Strangely, I am not feeling anxious.

Felt like he is only away at school boarding or on school overseas trip.

boys born in 1999 would have to register this year.
next year will be son's turn.

jennifer,
at the time your son registered (should be 16 years old?), did he go for the medical test? my son is due for an operation around 18-19 years old for jaw surgery. his plastic surgeon has written a letter to the medical officer about his cleft condition and the upcoming operation. do i produce the letter during the medical test?

Do bring along any existing medical report/doctor letter and remind your boy to show to the medical officer. Parents wait outside, cannot go into the rooms.
