Elder boy SMS last night - kena sore throat, took a panadol.

Surprised that he took the initiative to take a panadol. He always refuses panadol to relieve pain, even when he had 4 tooth extracted and during the braces tightening days.

Not sure how bad is the sore throat as he did not elaborate.

One kind mummy reminded me to pack some self medication via pm. So he took along a few pieces of panadol, the balance day cough, night cough, day antihistamine, night antihistamine and anti inflammatory medicines we had from the GP some months ago when the boys had HFMD.

Btw, the Tekong Cough (joke) was mentioned during the auditorium session. The officer kept assuring the visitors that there is no such thing as Tekong Cough.

Elder boy told me those seniors whom he spoke to do not enjoy serving NS, exactly why, elder boy did not ask. He says to not have any expectation, just keep an open mind, be neutral and experience the process.

Just like some of his schoolmates find school boarding food lousy, some teachers too fierce. When he went through the same process, he did not think their complaints were that real. He always says People complain too much.

:rotflmao:

Enjoy your sharings. My mental preparation for DS...
Your DS is very levelheaded and love his approach.
Experience the process - how wise !
