If someone gets A1 for all subjects except for HMT(only gets C6), would he/she able to get 2 bonus points from the 6 points that he will get from L1R5 although HMT was not included in the 6 subjects computation?

Yes, still granted 2 pts deduction for HMT.

Criteria for the HMT 2pts deduction is pass in English and HMT, and JC choices is in front of Poly Choices when filling up the JAE

So for bonus points, all else been equal. Safest is to get into affiliated JC, do HMT and perform your best in CCA.

i. Pass in HMT [ 2 points ]
ii. CCA [ A1/A2 - 2 points, B3 and below - 1 point ]
iii. Affiliation [ 2 points ]

May get up to 4 points for affiliated JC and at least 3 points for non affiliated JC?...if MOE doesn't change policy about affiliation that is :P

No slacking for CCA since you don't know if you can get into the affiliated...is that correct.

Other than pass in MSP, can also be CSP or Bahasa Indonesia.

Poly is ELR2B2 so cannot use Higher Chinese to replace English

The age range is up to 2yrs above the normal age. But you can call MOE to check if there is any flexibility on this. If she has a good reason, you can ask if they can waive the limit.

There is no age limit.
As long as she meets the qualifying criteria and is comfortable studying / working alongside classmates who are a couple of years her junior.
