This morning my 12-year-old sent me this. Said he found some AI generator called Sassbook that can generate a random essay. I also think not bad. When i told him about the “Long Wait” PSLE compo that u posted (also by AI) he said Sassbook didnt have fxn to input age. So came out secondary school level type of essay. But i agree, technology is quite good nowadays. Even simple law docs supposedly dont need a human lawyer to generate liao.

The AI technology I showed in the previous post is by https://openai.com/. Some of the early backers include Elon Musk and Peter Thiel. In 2019, Microsoft pumped in US$1 billion. Actually, it's pretty scary if you think about it. Once we get the computer to be able to think creatively, nature has no reason to keep us around anymore. We think maybe AI can keep humans in a "paradise" where we just lounge around, chill out at the beach, but is that what being human really is? Sounds more like the way we keep endangered species like pandas in the zoo.
