Popular could be a good place to start with.
I don't really use guidebook when I was in Secondary school. Teachers provided the concise notes to help us.

For secondary science books, I bought "stay ahead" from popular. Think its under EPH.

Hi,

Search for "SAP" - Singapore Asian Publications, its logo is a blue seahorse. They have assessment n model compositions.

You can find in Popular.

Did you try to get past year exam papers from other sch? This will be better, according to syllabus and sch term.

:D
