ACS course is great but girls to boys ratio is 1:5 ...that makes it not suitable for girls.

ACS-I is @ 1900 dollars per month...which is too expensive.

There aren't that many schools offering IB in Singapore. The ones I can recall are ACS Independent, ACS International, SJI International, SOTA and Singapore Sports School.

You can find the whole list of schools that offer IB here

But most are international schools, so it's bound to be very expensive.

There would be more schools offering IB courses now since ACS has 28 student scoring perfact 45.. Will there be more schools offering IB courses in SG

SJI is offering IB now.

Why the magic figure of $800?

For girls, the only option you have is ACSI (which MGS will start offering thru train to beginning with next year's Sec 1 batch). Or if your dd is arts-oriented, SOTA. Fees for ACSI and SOTA are about $300-400.

My DD in Sec 3 already ... so ACSI is only options... For that you have to do really well at O-level.
SOTA won't take O-level students for just 2 years

Just realized that your dd is in Sec 3 already. Yes, ACSI is the only option. Honestly, if you're keen on IB go for ACSI. The teachers there are good. COP is around 5? If your dd has bonus points then she can aim for 9 or better at O levels?
