Supplementary Lessons for Secondary School

Postby mamii » Mon Mar 23, 2009 1:17 am

Hi, I wonder is it normal for the school for have supp lessons almost everyday for sec 3 students ? my niece is in a neighbourhood school. She is so tired after school not to mention with lots of homework and being a weaker student she hardly has time for revision.

hi mamii, i think its quite common. Primary schools also have supplement lessons for higher primary.

I know quite a number of sec 1 students, after CA1, the school would review the students results and get them into supplment on their weak subjects.

Don't know about other IP schools but for my child - Yes. A few even started supplement class for Chinese before the CA1 test.

Chinese supp started before CA1 tests. The rest of the subjects are after CA1 results.
Hhmm ... my child's school only offer HCL, no CL. So I not sure if can drop to CL ... :?
Yes, I think must pass mother tongue. I need to read the handout again :D
