Integrated Humanities (Core)/Social Studies

Postby Gladiator » Sun Sep 04, 2011 10:31 am

In some IP schools, Social Studies is termed as Integrated Humanities (Core) in S3/4 but it should be similar to the Social Studies in the non IP S3/4. My understanding of this subject is that it is quite similar to the GP subject taught in JC in terms of the application of techniques and the questions set are usually political in nature. This could set a base for the students when they come in contact with GP when in JC. Not sure if my understanding is correct. If that is the case, this subject can become a very important subject to take care as well as to do well in. Would like to seek your inputs in doing well in this subject and if tuition is helpful in this area?
In addition, is this subject really so similar to GP?

Thank you.

A unique blended learning programme that combines both classroom and online learning. In-person group classes provide opportunity to learn from peers and teacher by dissecting specific topics and assignments (SBQ and SEQ skills), live demonstrations and discussions. Online learning enables flexibility and personalised feedback on student's work. :boogie:

Feel free to browse our website and Facebook to find out more on the programme. If you have any questions, we would love to hear from you. Talk to us at our hotline or drop by for a chat.
