Not very Helpful Sch

Hi parents,
I just want to voice out my frustration.Met up with EL teacher in order to see my DD's SA1 EL paper. This is the only time my DD failed her EL (Sec 3 new Syllabus). Seen the paper and noted DD's weakness. Asked the teacher how was the whole cohort's performance? Answer was about 40 -50 % students failed.
My next question was ; will the sch be conducting any remedial classes for the sch holidays or any help from the schoool?
The answer was "NO" , as the sch needs to concentrate in the Sec 4 for coming O level. Was wondering if the sch is so short of EL teachers ?
Then I decided to ask for the answer script so that I could analyse and digest the the EL paper in order to guide my DD. My request was rejected citing that the sch does not want the EL paper to be circulated in the "market". HUH??(FYI , my DD's sch is just a neighbourhood sch)
What puzzled me was that I got back all the other subjects answer scripts with no questions asked.
