If your kids do not have an interest/ do badly for SS, just buy them some assessment books or try to spark some interest in SS for them.

There are lots of guides and study books for social studies.So that it is very easy to study and secure your distinction in that.
usually social studies are easy to understand and it contain brief summary for every topics.theory parts are more in social studies.
Praxis social studies are one of the best study guide to use .
Social studies is a necessary subject for students to study for their primary level itself.
It is the integrated study of history and humanities and it is necessary for children to aware about their society geography and culture.
Usually the students need to study the main division of SS :economics,politics,history and geography.
